How I found Natural Healing

Growing up on a farm in Joppa, Alabama, I noticed early in life how many people suffered from pain on a daily bases. Half of these people felt like their pain and loss of mobility was normal with age. It was something they had to live with. The other half took prescriptions, had surgeries, or self-medicated. They tried everything they could to fix the problem or mask the pain only to have it get worse anyway. It truly felt natural that everyone lived in pain, including myself.

Before discovering that fish oil could solve my sinus problem, I truly believed western medicine was the best way to go for every problem and living with the many possible side effects was worth the risk to stay healthy. Now, I have learned that there are so many natural healing modalities, and that diet, exercise, and nature are all important for keeping your bodies healthy.

I'm not suggesting that I nor anyone else should never use medications or surgery. That is an individual decision to be made depending on the circumstances. But I truly believe in trying to find a natural solution to my problems and the problems of my clients. The less chemicals, drugs, and cutting open we can do to our bodies, the more healthy we can live.
